Enemix is supporting one of Australia's leading renewable energy developers/asset owners to expand its engineering/delivery team here in Sydney. This business owns and operates a substantial national portfolio of battery storage in operation/under construction.

This is a rare chance to work across some of the largest and most technically advanced BESS assets in the country, at a business that develops, owns, and operates its own projects rather than just developing them and moving on.

The Role
/n
You'll sit within the wider project engineering team, supporting the engineering and construction of large-scale BESS assets from early works through to commissioning and handover. Responsibilities will include:

/n
- Support technical delivery across civil, electrical, and BOP scopes on live BESS construction
/n
- Manage interfaces between EPC contractors, OEMs, and internal project teams
/n
- Review design documentation and support the resolution of technical issues on site
/n
- Coordinate with AEMO, network operators,
and other stakeholders on connection and commissioning requirements
/n
- Contribute to HSE, quality, and programme outcomes across the project
/n/n
What we're looking for
/n
/n
- Degree‐qualified electrical or civil engineer with project engineering experience in utility‐scale renewables or heavy infrastructure
/n
- Exposure to BESS, solar, or wind construction highly regarded, but strong transferable experience from substations, transmission, or large‐scale industrial projects will also be considered
/n
- Comfortable working on active construction sites in regional or remote locations, with infrequent travel as required
/n
- Strong communicator who can work across contractor, OEM, and internal stakeholder groups
