Full Stack Java Script Engineer – At Dot Collective, we believe in doing great eCommerce work—plain and simple. We are a highly technical team passionate about crafting engaging, personalised, and socially connected eCommerce experiences. Since launching in 2016, we/'ve built hundreds of eCommerce sites for major brands and groups.

We/'re growing the team and looking for a Full Stack Java Script Engineer to join our newly created Connect Product squad, building cutting-edge unified commerce solutions for our clients. You/'ll design, build, and maintain high-performance eCommerce solutions that exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Lead the development of scalable, high-performance eCommerce solutions using React, Node.js, and Type Script

/n

- Work with Shopify Plus, contributing to our position as a key Shopify+ Partner

/n

- Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Delivery Leads, and Management to scope, estimate, and deliver projects

/n

- Assist in architecting solutions and deployments on AWS/GCP

/n

- Maintain high documentation standards, ensuring internal and external clarity across platforms like Git Hub and Slack

/n

- Mentor and support fellow engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence

/n/n

About You

/n

/n

- High-level proficiency in React, Node.js, Type Script, and experience with AWS or GCP

/n





- Experience with Shopify Plus and a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices

/n

- Knowledge of headless CMS frameworks such as Sanity or Storyblok

/n

- Working knowledge of Three.JS or similar creative technologies for animation

/n

- Ability to scope and break down projects into clear, manageable tasks

/n

- Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically about complex technical challenges

/n

- Comfortable in a client-facing role, discussing solutions with non-technical stakeholders when necessary

/n

- Strong written communication skills with a focus on documentation and knowledge sharing

/n

- Self-driven with a positive mindset, eager to contribute to team culture and engage in ongoing learning
