Job Description

Are you a Structural Project Engineer looking for site experience, supporting the delivery of critical defect and remediation projects?

/n

The Opportunity

/n

We are currently seeking 2 x Project Engineers (Structural) to join our team. You will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of projects, with a focus on identifying structural defects, assessing repair requirements and determining appropriate remediation solutions for our client in North West QLD.

These are FIFO positions on a 9/5 roster flying out of Brisbane or Townsville.

Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Coordinate work programmes to safely deliver multiple projects concurrently

/n

- Support the day-to-day management of scope, cost, schedule, quality and resources throughout the project lifecycle

/n

- Assisting with planning and scheduling tasks, including preparing basic work plans and helping to monitor and update weekly and monthly schedules

/n

- Engage, collaborate and continue to strengthen respectful relationships with clients and stakeholders

/n

- Engage with internal stakeholders to ensure they are well informed of project objectives, scope and progress

/n

- Interpretation of engineering drawings and documents, working with engineers and designers to help develop practical technical solutions

/n

- Maintain project tracking, report status updates and effectively elevate any major issues promptly to the leadership team

/n

- Identify risks and opportunities,



enabling their visibility amongst stakeholders, ensuring relevant effective strategies and mitigation controls are in place

/n

- Work within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system, and contractual and legislation requirements relevant to the project

/n/n

Here's what you'll need

/n

/n

- Tertiary qualifications in Structural Engineering

/n

- At least 2+ years post‐graduate experience in a similar role within the Mining sector

/n

- Lead by example, creating a culture of safety, quality, and environmental awareness

/n

- The ability to work autonomously, prioritise demands and handle multiple project tasks simultaneously

/n

- Strong communicator with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders

/n

- Provide succinct updates/reporting and timely escalation of issues

/n

- Motivated, proactive and energetic team player with a problem‐solving nature

/n

- These are FIFO positions – roster is 9/5
