Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Supervisor / Clerk of Works to join a leading residential developer builder delivering high‐quality mixed‐use and Class 2 residential developments across Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.
Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, consultants, and subcontractors, you will oversee quality throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring all works comply with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

/n
- Carry out quality inspections throughout all stages of construction, from structure through to completion and handover
/n
- Identify defects, non‐conformances, and workmanship issues, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
/n
- Monitor compliance with project specifications, drawings, Australian Standards, and the NCC
/n
- Coordinate inspections with consultants, certifiers, and relevant stakeholders
/n
- Maintain QA documentation, inspection records, defect registers, and reporting
/n
- Work closely with site teams to promote best practice and continuous quality improvement
/n
- Assist with project handovers, practical completion, and defect management
/n
- Provide regular quality reporting to senior project stakeholders
/n/n
Requirements
/n
/n
- Proven experience as a Quality Supervisor, Clerk of Works, Site Manager,
or Foreman within the residential construction sector
/n
- Strong experience delivering Class 2 residential or mixed‐use developments
/n
- Excellent understanding of construction methodologies, Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and QA processes
/n
- Ability to identify workmanship issues and drive high‐quality project outcomes
/n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across site teams and consultants
/n
- Trade qualification or tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Building, or a related discipline highly regarded
/n/n
