About the Role

We are seeking experienced and skilled Boilermaker Welders to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a safety-focused tradesperson with strong fabrication and welding skills to work on a variety of projects across the heavy industry, mining, construction, manufacturing, and engineering sectors.

/n

The successful candidate will have proven experience in structural fabrication, welding, mechanical repairs, and interpreting technical drawings while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Perform fabrication, welding, and mechanical repair work to a high standard.

/n

- Interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.

/n

- Carry out MIG, TIG, and/or MMA welding as required.

/n

- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair steel structures, components, and equipment.

/n

- Conduct fitting, cutting, grinding, and general workshop duties.

/n

- Complete maintenance and shutdown works where required.

/n

- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with quality requirements.

/n

- Conduct inspections and identify potential issues or defects.

/n

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

/n/n

Essential Requirements

/n

/n

- Trade Certificate as a Boilermaker / Metal Fabricator.





/n

- Demonstrated experience in welding and fabrication.

/n

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.

/n

- Strong knowledge of workshop safety procedures and industry standards.

/n

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

/n

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

/n

- Current driver's licence.

/n

- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening (where required).

/n/n

Desirable

/n

/n

- Experience in mining, heavy fabrication, structural steel, or industrial maintenance.

/n

- Welding tickets and relevant qualifications.

/n

- Experience with shutdown projects or FIFO operations.

/n

- High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, Dogging, Rigging, or Crane).

/n

- Working at Heights and Confined Space certification.

/n

- Construction Induction White Card.

/n/n
