About the Role

/n

Reporting to the senior leadership team, you will lead our Health, Safety, Environment and Compliance functions across the business. You will work closely with managers and employees to ensure our systems not only meet legislative requirements but also support a practical, proactive safety culture.

/n

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Lead and maintain the company's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.

/n

- Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation, environmental regulations and industry standards.

/n

- Develop, implement and review policies, procedures and safe work practices.

/n

- Coordinate risk assessments, audits, inspections and corrective actions.

/n

- Investigate incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.

/n





- Deliver engaging safety inductions, training and toolbox meetings.

/n

- Monitor compliance with licenses, permits, certifications and regulatory obligations.

/n

- Manage internal and external audits and regulatory inspections.

/n

- Prepare compliance reports and provide advice to management on emerging legislative requirements.

/n

- Promote continuous improvement in safety performance and operational compliance.

/n

- Build positive relationships with employees, contractors and regulatory authorities.

/n/n

About You

/n

You are an approachable leader who enjoys working with people and influencing positive change. You combine strong technical knowledge with practical problem-solving skills and are comfortable working across both strategic and operational activities.

/n

Ideally You Will Have

/n

/n

- Qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety, Environmental Management or a related discipline.

/n

- Demonstrated experience in a HSE and/or Compliance leadership role.

/n

- Strong knowledge of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements.

/n/n

/n

- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

/n

- Experience conducting audits, incident investigations and risk assessments.

/n

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

/n

- High attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

/n

- Current Australian drivers license.

/n/n
