We are currently seeking highly skilled Mechanical/Electrical Commissioning Managers to join our dynamic team and lead the commissioning process on upcoming, state-of-the-art data centre projects in Melbourne.
As a Data Centre Commissioning Manager you'll play the most crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end commissioning and handover process, ensuring the flawless operation of critical infrastructure components.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering or equivalent experience such as Advanced Diploma or trades qualified in HVAC and / or refrigeration or electrical.
- Proven experience in data centre commissioning or similar project management roles will be highly regarded. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving setting.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for coordinating and executing the commissioning process of data centre systems, including mechanical and electrical systems.
Your expertise will ensure all components are thoroughly tested and meet the required performance criteria, validating the reliability and safety of the data centres.
Familiarity with ASHRAE processes will be highly regarded.
Project Management
As a proficient multitasker, you are able to manage multiple commissioning projects simultaneously, liaising with cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, vendors and the end-client. Your exceptional organisational skills will guarantee that projects are delivered to the highest quality standards.
Quality Assurance
You will implement comprehensive quality assurance processes, meticulously tracking and documenting all commissioning activities. By conducting detailed inspections and audits, you will identify and resolve any issues, maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.
Collaboration and Training
Fostering a collaborative environment, you will work closely with various teams to ensure seamless data centre integration. Additionally, you may be involved in provision of training to Operations and Maintenance personnel, equipping them with the knowledge necessary to maintain optimal data centre functionality.
