Job Description
Who we are looking for
/n
The L2 Systems Analyst is a client-facing, business and technical position responsible for managing production of Charles River IMS systems for Asia Pacific clients as part of the Charles River Software as a Service (SaaS)/Managed Services offerings, including application management for hosted and non-hosted clients.

Why this role is important to us
/n
The team you will be joining is part of Charles River Development (CRD), now a part of State Street. CRD creates enterprise investment‐management software for large institutions in institutional investment, wealth management and hedge funds. Together we launched State Street Alpha in 2019, a first open front‐to‐back platform.
/n
What you will be responsible for
/n
This role will involve:
/n
/n
- working closely with clients to provide expert remote management, administration and support for client production Charles River IMS solutions;
/n
- assisting clients in optimal use of the system, user administration/privileges, and parameter configuration changes;
/n
- ensuring system availability and application/database performance tuning;
/n
- monitoring daily operational processing and providing support;
/n
- installing Charles River IMS and database software patches and version upgrades;
/n
- assisting with problem support and resolution, business continuity/disaster recovery assistance;
/n
- collaborating with Charles River colleagues to transition new clients to production;
/n
- working with vendors to deliver an integrated, seamless service to clients;
/n
- participating in development, refinement and continuous process improvement of the services;
/n
- investigating, implementing and operating third‐party tools to enhance,
automate and streamline delivery;
/n
- providing periodic out‐of‐hours support.

What we value
/n
/n
- Experience with financial services, investment management, trading or related systems (e.g., Charles River IMS) is highly desirable.
/n
- Proven ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
/n
- Experience in MSSQL Server, Oracle and/or Sybase database configuration, operations and basic administration.
/n
- Preferred: experience with servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software and disaster recovery/business continuity.
/n
- Excellent customer service, technical troubleshooting, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
/n
- Background in portfolio management and trading system applications is preferred.
/n/n
Education & Preferred Qualifications
/n
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
/n
Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical discipline such as Computer Science, IT, Financial Engineering, Engineering, Science, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics is preferred.
/n
Japanese language proficiency would be advantageous.
/n
Additional requirements

Periodic off‐hours support.
