Your new role

/n

As the Assets and Facilities Manager, you will lead the development and continuous improvement of asset management systems, plans and processes across a diverse infrastructure portfolio.

/n

Key responsibilities include:

/n

/n

- Developing and implementing strategic asset management plans and policies

/n

- Managing facilities, infrastructure assets, leases, licences and permits

/n

- Leading asset inspections, condition assessments and renewal planning

/n

- Preparing business cases, budgets and asset management reports

/n

- Managing procurement, contracts, consultants and maintenance contractors

/n

- Driving asset management maturity and continuous improvement initiatives

/n

- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to support operational outcomes

/n/n

What you'll need to succeed

/n

/n





- Strong experience in asset and facilities management within a civil, infrastructure, local government or public sector environment

/n

- Experience managing infrastructure assets, maintenance programmes and contractor performance

/n

- Knowledge of asset management planning, condition assessments, life cycle management and asset renewal forecasting

/n

- Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract administration and stakeholder engagement

/n

- Ability to develop business cases, strategic plans and asset management frameworks

/n

- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to management, committees and key stakeholders

/n/n

Qualifications

/n

/n

- Qualifications in Asset Management, Engineering, Civil Infrastructure, Facilities Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded

/n/n
