We are looking for Platform Engineer for our esteemed client

About the Role
/n
We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to support the design, deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of critical ICT platforms within a highly secured environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and scalable platform solutions across on-premises and cloud hosting environments while ensuring compliance with Government standards and security requirements.

Key Responsibilities
/n

- Design, implement, and maintain ICT platform infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
/n
- Deploy, configure, and support enterprise platforms, applications, and infrastructure.
/n
- Perform environment configuration, release, and deployment activities across development, test, and production environments.
/n
- Monitor platform health,
performance, availability, and capacity, implementing proactive improvements where required.
/n
- Support infrastructure automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) where applicable.
/n
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform, infrastructure, and deployment issues.
/n
- Collaborate with project teams, architects, cybersecurity, and operations teams to deliver secure ICT solutions.
/n
- Maintain configuration baselines and ensure effective configuration and environment management.
/n
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
/n
- Ensure all platform activities comply with security policies, governance, and operational standards.
/n
- Demonstrated experience in Platform Engineering and ICT infrastructure deployments.
/n
- Strong knowledge of hosting environments, including on-premises and cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
/n
- Proven experience in configuration management, environment management, and release/deployment processes.
/n
- Experience supporting Windows and/or Linux server environments.
/n
- Knowledge of virtualisation technologies such as VMware.
/n
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
/n
- Understanding of networking, storage, identity management, and enterprise infrastructure services.
/n
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
/n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
/n/n

- Must be an Australian Citizen.
/n
- Must hold NV1, or NV2 Security Clearance (as required).
