An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced HR Business Partner with strong Employee Relations expertise to join a large organisation undergoing significant transformation and workforce change initiatives.
This contract role will play a key part in supporting a critical employment and payroll remediation program following a recent business acquisition. Working closely with project leaders and senior stakeholders, you will help navigate complex employment matters, drive compliance outcomes, and support organisational change initiatives.
About the Opportunity A major remediation project is currently underway to review and strengthen employment and payroll practices within an acquired business.
Key areas of focus include:
- Reviewing historical employment arrangements and payroll practices.
- Supporting compliance and remediation activities.
- Contributing to policy consultation and review processes.
- Partnering with project teams to manage workforce and employee relations matters.
- Supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives.
Considerable work has already been completed, including:
- Comprehensive Modern Award mapping.
- Establishment of a dedicated project management function.
- Engagement of specialist data analysts to review historical employment records.
- Assessment of remediation requirements and corrective action plans.
As a result, you will be joining a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your HR and ER expertise will be highly valued.
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Extensive HR Business Partnering experience.
- Strong Employee Relations knowledge and practical application.
- Experience supporting complex projects and business transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated capability in policy development, consultation, and review.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- The ability to operate confidently in a changing and evolving environment.
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, and workforce compliance obligations.
