Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Appointment Setter to serve as the first point of contact for homeowners interested in electrical and solar solutions, driving revenue through high-volume outbound calling and rapid response to incoming leads. In this role, you will take ownership of the entire appointment-setting funnel-from cold outreach on purchased contact lists to nurturing warm inbound leads. You will educate prospects about solar and electrical services, overcome objections, build trust quickly, and schedule qualified appointments that convert into sales for the installation team.

Client Overview

Our client is a growing Australian-based electrical and solar installation company serving homeowners in Adelaide. They have recently acquired a substantial database of homeowner contacts and are scaling their outbound sales operations to convert both cold leads and inbound inquiries into qualified appointments for their field teams.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Adelaide Time (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities

- Conduct high-volume cold calling to homeowners from purchased contact databases in Adelaide.
- Respond quickly to inbound leads who have filled out interest forms with their electricity bill details and service requests.
- Educate homeowners about solar installation and electrical services over the phone.
- Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the sales and installation teams.
- Handle objections professionally and build rapport with potential customers.
- Use CRM tools to track leads, follow-ups, and appointment outcomes.
- Maintain a pipeline of prospects and ensure consistent follow-up on warm leads.
- Meet daily and weekly appointment-setting targets.

Requirements

- Communication & Phone Presence: Excellent English communication skills and strong phone presence.
- Cold Calling Experience:



Comfortable with high-volume outbound calling and cold lead conversion.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build trust and relationships quickly with prospects over the phone.
- CRM Proficiency: Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Pipeline, or GoHighLevel.
- Work Style: Persistent, professional, and results-driven work style.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a cold caller or appointment setter, ideally 2+ years.
- Demonstrable background in solar sales or energy-related industries.
- Experience selling solar installation services specifically is a bonus.
- Experience working with Australian clients or understanding of the Australian energy market is a plus.
- Familiarity with handling both cold outreach and warm inbound lead flows is a plus.
