IFYS has an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated leader to fill the role of Case Manager in Cairns. This position is a front‐line management position overseeing one residential program and a team of Residential Youth Workers.

Key Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Manage and oversee the day‐to‐day running of the program
/n
- Provide leadership and management to all staff, including supervision and development
/n
- Ensure that the program provides trauma‐informed therapeutic care to young people within a safe, clean and hygienic environment
/n
- Manage positive relationships with all stakeholders
/n
- Ensure the program adheres to all reporting and documentation requirements
/n
- Write Safety Plans and contribute to Positive Behaviour Support Plans
/n
- Attend critical appointments with young people and facilitate/attend relevant meetings
/n
- Complete rosters that reflect smart rostering and industrial compliance
/n
- Plan and conduct developmentally appropriate individual and group activities consistent with meeting the young people's needs and goals in line with Case Plans
/n
- Contribute to efficient and comprehensive onboarding, induction and training of new staff
/n/n
Requirements for the Role
/n
/n
- Experience working in a leadership position in a similar field
/n
- A relevant tertiary qualification, Diploma level or higher
/n
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
/n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders
/n
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate and empower a team to achieve positive outcomes
/n
- Sound judgement, problem‐solving skills, and the ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively
/n
- Exceptional time management and prioritisation skills
/n
- Demonstrated experience in maintaining program compliance
/n
- A continuous learning mindset
/n/n
Must Hold or be Willing to Obtain if Successful
/n
/n
- Valid Queensland driver's licence with no restrictions
/n
- QLD Working with Children Check (Paid Blue Card)
/n
- Licensed Care Suitability Check (LCS2)
/n
- National Crime Check (IFYS will complete a recent check through our systems)
/n
- Ability to provide two recent line manager references, including your current employer
/n/n
