About The Opportunity
CSI Mining Services are seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team for current and future opportunities. This role is a full‑time position and can allow you to grow your skill set with on‑site training and the opportunity to develop your career on the tools and as a leader.
This role will be a 2/1, day shift only roster, FIFO out of Perth, as an Electrician for the CSI Electrical Services Team covering several sites in the Goldfields Region.

Key responsibilities
Operate and maintain diesel generators
Undertake routine inspections and maintenance on the diesel generators and ancillary equipment
Monitor power generation operations via software‑based systems, ensuring that the site is operating as required, including identifying any short‑ or long‑term plant reliability issues, or improvement opportunities that may be present
Undertake typical housekeeping duties
Maintain stock inventory
Support other MRL employees and/or contractors conducting works on power generation equipment, ensuring MRL HSE policies and procedures are being adhered to
Participate in On Call activities when rostered on site, ensuring prompt response is given to any issue that may arise after hours
What is required
Demonstrated commitment to safety
Ability to work autonomously in remote locations
Extensive experience and sound knowledge of power systems and control circuitry
Previous experience in running and maintaining Diesel Generators
Previous experience operating a power station
Knowledge and experience using COMAP Synchronising controllers and systems
A high standard of fault finding and trouble‑shooting ability
Australian recognised Electrical trade qualification
Previous experience with a CMMS such as Pronto (desirable)
Current Electrical License
HV Switching Certificate
Current Australian Driver's License
Construction Induction Card
First Aid, CPR & LVR
Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
Ability to meet pre‑employment medical and drug & alcohol screening requirements
