Currently, the organization is recruiting for a National Sales Manager role. This position will oversee the entire sales team across Australia, New Zealand, and surrounding regions, driving strategic growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
/n
/n
- Conduct national market and technology research to identify trends and opportunities.
/n
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth.
/n
- Oversee distribution channels, including performance analysis and ongoing development.
/n
- Lead the planning, development, and management of new products.
/n
- Manage the Sales Department, advertising teams, and external agents.
/n
- Monitor and control departmental expenditures within approved budgets.
/n
- Recruit, train, manage, and motivate sales staff in line with company policies and employment regulations. Final hiring decisions are subject to Director approval.

- Maintain and enhance product knowledge, technical expertise,
and sales capabilities.
/n
- Strategically plan and manage sales growth across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, and Papua Recent Guinea, including oversight of Area and Sales Managers.

- Implement regional sales and marketing strategies across designated territories.
/n
- Launch new products and establish market presence.
/n
- Track and report on market trends and competitor activities; compile and review monthly reports from the national sales team.
/n
- Manage responses to sales inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
/n
- Organize and deliver product training sessions for distributors and end users.
/n
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives including trade shows, product demonstrations, and promotional campaigns.
/n
- Drive sales development with both existing and new distributors.
/n
- Maintain and update databases for customers, end users, and competitors.
/n
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
/n
- Collaborate with customers to negotiate favourable trading terms.
/n
- Design and deliver a national training program for schools and TAFE institutions.
/n
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director.

Your Profile
/n
/n
- Prior experience in a related industry—such as wholesale pneumatic tools, couplings, or compressors—serving sectors like mining and construction is highly preferred.
/n
- Demonstrated experience in managing staff within a sales department is essential.
/n
- Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
/n
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
