About the opportunity

/n

As an Estimator at MJH, you'll play a key role providing accurate, detailed cost estimates that support our clients, sales teams, and the successful delivery of every build. In this role, you will:

/n

/n

- Estimate across single, split-level, and double-storey home designs

/n

- Generate site costings (cut/fill, dropped edge beams,



garage calculations)

/n

- Complete sales tenders using site reports, satellite images, and Nearmap

/n

- Interpret construction plans to ensure compliance and methodology

/n

- Prepare pre-contract variation pricing and scopes of work

/n

- Review external reports to support cost accuracy

/n

- Liaise with internal stakeholders and assist with contract variations

/n/n

About you

/n

You'll bring strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for teamwork, aligning with our values: better together, be accountable, people matter, think bigger.

/n

/n

- 2+ years' experience in a similar role and industry

/n

- Knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards

/n

- Experience interpreting building plans and associated reports and documentation

/n

- Outstanding attention to detail and be goal oriented

/n

- Ability to work autonomously and in within a wider team

/n

- Demonstrate an innovative approach to solving problems

/n/n
