We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Key Account Executive to join our Sales team in Perth. Managing the Western Australian territory for CSL Behring's plasma-derived therapies, you will build strong relationships with healthcare professionals, identify growth opportunities, and drive sales performance across your territory.
About the Role
As a Key Account Executive, you will deliver territory objectives by developing strategic account plans, identifying opportunities, and understanding customer needs, drivers, and barriers. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value-based solutions that support both customer and business outcomes.
This part-time role is ideal for a resilient and commercially minded sales professional who thrives in a dynamic healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to drive ongoing support for CSL Behring's plasma-derived therapies.
Achieve territory sales, revenue, and profitability targets through effective account management and execution of strategic sales plans.
Build brand awareness and customer engagement through impactful face-to-face and virtual interactions.
Identify opportunities to grow market share and strengthen CSL Behring's position within the Western Australian market.
Manage territory budgets and resources effectively to maximise business outcomes.
Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Medicines Australia Code of Conduct requirements and company policies.
Utilise the C360 CRM platform to effectively manage customer interactions, territory planning, and sales activity.
Maintain a strong focus on continuous learning and professional development,
aligned with CSL Behring's sales competencies.
Provide regular insights on market dynamics, customer needs, sales effectiveness, and competitive activity to support business planning.
Manage day-to-day operational activities efficiently and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and compliance requirements.
Qualifications and Experience required:
A tertiary qualification in a health discipline, science or pharmacy.
4 years' pharmaceutical sales experience (minimum 2 years' experience as a specialist sales representative).
Extensive clinical/medical experience in relevant therapeutic group is preferred, but not mandatory
Strategic account management skills - good at managing and defending customer relationships (Essential)
Comfortable working autonomously and is self-motivated
Good understanding of the Australian healthcare system.
Ability to understand and communicate clinical data at a high level.
Superior planning and organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills.
Demonstrate leadership and foster team dynamics of cooperation.
Ability to network and building solid partnerships.
Customer and patient focused.
Travel Requirements
Travel to Northern Territory once every 8 weeks
Semi-regular interstate travel for conferences, training, and national meetings.
Ability to carry promotional materials and equipment.
This is a part time position, working four days a week, based in Perth, WA.
