About the Opportunity

Join our dedicated Occupational Therapy team and play an important role in supporting people to achieve greater independence and improved health outcomes. Working under the guidance of experienced Occupational Therapists, you'll provide practical clinical and administrative support across both inpatient and community settings, helping deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

In this role you will:

- Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering individual and group therapy programs within your scope of practice.
- Support clients and their families by providing education, information and encouragement to promote positive health outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, holistic and culturally sensitive care.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling, stock management, clinical documentation and data collection.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on patient safety, quality care and the CCLHD values.

About You

You are a compassionate and motivated Allied Health Assistant who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and is passionate about helping people achieve their health and independence goals. You bring excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

We are looking for someone who has:





- A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (Occupational Therapy) and experience working in an inpatient, community, residential care or disability setting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- The ability to work both independently under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence providing education and support to clients and their families.
- Sound administrative and computer skills, with experience in maintaining records, coordinating schedules and managing stock, along with a commitment to delivering safe, culturally respectful and person-centred care.
