Your new role:
As a Clinical Nurse in Jasmine Unit, you'll provide advanced clinical leadership and specialist nursing care for adults undergoing intensive rehabilitation following acquired brain injury. Working autonomously and collaboratively, you'll coordinate complex care, mentor staff and contribute to quality improvement, education and service development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced, person-centred nursing care for patients with complex rehabilitation needs.
- Lead clinical decision-making, care planning and coordination within a multidisciplinary team.
- Support education, mentoring and professional development of nursing staff and students.
- Drive quality improvement, evidence-based practice and safe, high-quality patient care.
About you:
You are an experienced Registered Nurse with strong clinical leadership skills and a passion for rehabilitation nursing. You thrive in collaborative environments and are committed to improving outcomes for people living with acquired brain injury.
Skills & Experience
- Current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience.
- Advanced clinical assessment, leadership and complex care coordination skills.
- Strong communication, mentoring and multidisciplinary teamwork abilities.
- Experience in rehabilitation or neurological nursing is highly regarded, with postgraduate study desirable.

The Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre providing care in most major adult specialties. We provide world class health care to Brisbane City's southern suburbs across emergency, medical, mental health and surgical services, including liver and kidney transplant.
We are nationally recognised for our expertise in trauma management and organ transplants and are one of Australia's leading academic and research health centres. The PAH as a major medical research precinct hosts Australia's most advanced medical research facility, the Translational Research Institute (TRI) as well as a new Clinical Research Facility for the discoveries made at TRI to be trialed in a safe clinical environment.
