Hire Controller | $80K-$90K + Super + Bonus | Brisbane

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Hire Controller to join an established and growing equipment hire business, based in Brisbane.

Working closely with the Operations Manager and Sales team, you will play a key role in managing customer enquiries, coordinating hire bookings, organising transport, and maintaining strong relationships with clients across Queensland.

This role is much more than simply processing orders. You will become the primary point of contact for customers introduced through the Business Development team, ensuring a seamless hire experience.

About the role

- Manage inbound customer enquiries and hire requests
- Coordinate equipment hire bookings from start to finish
- Organise transport and logistics for deliveries and collections
- Liaise with operations and sales teams to ensure smooth service delivery
- Build and maintain solid customer relationships
- Provide accurate hire documentation, quotations, and follow up support





About you

- Previous experience as a Hire Controller or in a similar equipment hire, rental, logistics, or customer service role
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- A proactive, team-focused attitude with a strong customer service mindset
