Your new role:
As an Electrical Tradesperson with Metro South Health Maintenance Services, you'll play a key role in ensuring hospital facilities remain safe, reliable and fully operational, supporting frontline healthcare services across the Metro South network. You will:
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance, repairs and testing of electrical infrastructure, plant and equipment across major healthcare facilities.
- Complete electrical compliance testing, fault finding, switching, isolations and preventative maintenance to ensure assets operate safely and efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with fellow tradespeople, contractors and stakeholders while delivering high-quality, customer-focused technical services.
- Utilise maintenance management systems to manage work orders, maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
About you:
We're looking for qualified Electrical Tradespersons who take pride in delivering quality workmanship and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced healthcare environment. You will:
- Hold Queensland-recognised Electrical Fitter/Mechanic qualifications, a current Electrical Licence and White Card, with a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
- Bring experience maintaining electrical infrastructure within large commercial, industrial or healthcare facilities, with strong fault-finding and maintenance capabilities.
- Demonstrate excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Be committed to continuous improvement, outstanding customer service and Metro South Health's values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence.

Metro South Maintenance Services are the incumbent maintenance provider for Metro South Health Hospitals and Health Service (MSH) Facilities, with the primary objective to manage the corrective and preventative maintenance for all MSH infrastructure and facilities. Metro South's asset management objectives define the approach for delivering maintenance outcomes and the role of Maintenance management in supporting the achievement of the organisational objectives.
