About the role:
Our client is looking for a talented Associate to join their high-performing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven finance professional to accelerate their M&A; career in a collaborative, strategic, and growth-focused environment. In this role, you’ll work closely with experienced dealmakers, gain exposure to complex transactions, and play a key role in delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
What will you do?
As an Associate, you'll play a key role in the execution of transactions across a broad range of sectors. Working directly with senior leadership, you will:
- Support end-to-end M&A; transactions,
including both buy-side and sell-side mandates.
- Build and review financial models (DCF, three-way models) to support valuation and decision-making.
- Conduct company valuations, industry research, and market analysis to inform deal strategy.
- Prepare client presentations, information memorandums, and pitch materials for transactions and advisory projects.
- Partner closely with senior leaders to manage deal mandates and deliver transparent, actionable financial and strategic recommendations across M&A; and due diligence assignments.
- Oversee project management and coordination across all stages of the transaction process.
- Guide and develop junior staff, providing mentorship, feedback, and support to ensure strong outcomes.
- Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and team members.
- Apply financial analysis and commercial insight to help clients identify key value drivers, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Contribute to business development by identifying new opportunities through existing relationships and cultivating new client connections.
- Play an active role in shaping the strategic direction and development of the practice.
Job requirements – what do you need?
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Valuations, Consulting or Investment Banking.
- Strong financial modelling, commercial and analytical capabilities.
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- A degree in Commerce, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
