Senior Human Resources Advisor | Part-Time (20 Hours per Week)

We're partnering with a well-established and growing Queensland business to recruit an experienced Senior Human Resources Advisor to support their leadership team across a broad range of strategic and operational HR activities.

This permanent part-time opportunity offers 20 hours per week, with complete flexibility around how those hours are worked. Whether you prefer shorter days across the week or a reduced number of full days, the business is focused on finding an arrangement that works for both parties.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys autonomy, partnering closely with leaders and having genuine ownership of the people function.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you'll be the trusted HR advisor across the business, providing guidance on all aspects of the employee lifecycle while helping to shape and improve HR practices as the organisation continues to grow.

This is a hands-on generalist role where no two days are the same, combining strategic advice with day-to-day operational support.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide HR advice and support to leaders across a broad range of employee relations and people matters.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and induction processes.
- Coach managers through performance management,



disciplinary matters and employee relations issues.
- Develop, review and maintain HR policies, procedures, position descriptions and organisational structures.
- Coordinate performance review and succession planning processes.
- Oversee the outsourced payroll relationship and support payroll-related activities.
- Manage WorkCover, return-to-work and employee wellbeing initiatives.
- Coordinate visa and immigration processes where required.
- Produce HR reporting and workforce metrics to support business decision making.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR systems, processes and compliance.

About You

To be successful, you'll bring:

- At least five years' experience in a standalone or HR Advisor/Business Partner position.
- Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Awards and employee relations.
- Experience partnering with leaders and providing practical, commercial HR advice.
- Previous exposure to payroll processes and HR systems (Employment Hero experience will be highly regarded).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.




- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
