Access Adventure Club is on a mission to connect young people with nature, to improve the wellbeing of our next generation. We predominantly achieve this through delivering our Accessible Adventures programs for young people with disabilities.

We have been in operation for over 10 years, but only recently launched our 'Access Adventure Club' brand. We are leaders in a uniquely positioned niche that falls between outdoor education, disability support and tourism in Australia. We currently have a team of 18 full time staff and approximately 60 casual staff across Australia.

Role Description:

We are hiring Program Facilitators and Program Leaders who will be working in our VIC-based programs. Our programs primarily align with the Australian school holiday calendar, which serves as our core operational period. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for working with your Program Coordinator (Team leader) to successfully deliver our all-abilities overnight/multi day programs. You’ll have the option to choose which programs you wish to book yourself onto, and we’ll know these dates usually 6 months or more in advance. Our programs are located in nature-based destinations surrounding the Perth area. The role can be summed up into 3 main components.

- Physically and emotionally supporting 2 or more young people on program, in a variety of nature-based programs

- Offering reports and updates to guardians about the progress and milestones that the young people you are working with, have achieved





- Working as part of a team and using your specialised skills in the team when needed (see below for specialisations).

Ideal candidates:

- Have had experience working with kids with disabilities

- Have the ability to build rapport quickly with kids

- Have a passion for the outdoors or positive wellbeing of young people

- Are physically fit and capable

- Are fun and knowledgeable entertainers

We are specifically seeking Program Leaders with a solid background in outdoor education and group leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall safety of the group, navigating outdoor environments, and managing the "flow" of the program to ensure a high-quality experience for both staff and participants.
Program leaders will be upskilled and inducted to ensure they meet the requirements of leading these programs.

Specialisations: To build high-performing teams, we are looking for facilitators that are specialists in one or more of the following areas, or are willing to develop skills in particular areas:

- Outdoor activities facilitation

- Specialist caring (such as manual handling, hands on personal care or behavior specialists)

- Driving minibuses and trailers

- Overnight shift monitors (great for those willing to be night-owls)

- People who identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, that can facilitate cultural workshops.

Essential Items
To be successful in the role you must have or be willing to get:

- Working with Children’s Check OR Teacher registration

- Senior First Aid Certificate

- Completion certificate for SEA training modules

When and where is the work:

Our core work periods occur during the school holidays, where we deliver a high volume of back-to-back programs. While we do run select camps between terms, the vast majority of our opportunities are concentrated within these 2-week holiday blocks. Usually each program is 4 days in length (3 nights). Renumeration:
As a contractor with your own ABN (which is quick and affordable to set up—we’re happy to guide you through it if you’re successful), you’ll earn between $425–$500 per day.

We also include all accommodation and chef-made meals during your program. You will also be eligible individual ‘player of the match’ bonuses on each program, and team bonuses for when you are part of a team that gets a ‘match win’ on programs. This means you'll have quarterly (fully funded) social nights with your team!
