We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager (AO7/T6) to lead the delivery of complex infrastructure projects and programs in the East Arnhem Housing and Land Servicing team.

In this role, you’ll:

- Manage all phases of delivery for recent and extended housing in primarily remote communities.

- Perform the responsibilities of Principal Project Officer and on behalf of the Superintendent for housing capital works contracts.

- Monitor project delivery to ensure works are completed within scope, budget and timeframe.

- Oversee quality assurance for construction projects in challenging remote settings.

- Maintain strong working relationships with contractors and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

- Conduct site visits and pre-handover inspections for new and extended homes.

- Maintain accurate project data and reporting systems.





- Provide technical advice on housing construction and community-specific project issues.

You will bring:

- Experience in project delivery, construction, design and contract management.

- A proven ability to deliver projects to scope, within budget and on time.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.

- The ability to work effectively with stakeholders in a culturally sensitive and inclusive way.

- Sound judgement, initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

- A willingness to travel to remote communities and remote centres for short periods.

- A current NT C-class driver’s licence or equivalent, with the ability to drive four-wheel drive vehicles for long distances, and travel by light aircraft.
