We are seeking a motivated and proactive Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their career in a hands-on manufacturing environment while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of QHSE Systems, you will play a key role in promoting a proactive safety culture while supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing quality, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Working closely with production teams, supervisors and management, the position ensures that products are manufactured safely, consistently and to the required quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Provide advice and ensure compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations with all employees and contractors.
- Develop and maintain Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs), JSA’s and risk assessments.
- Conduct workplace inspections and safety audits, lead hazard identification and risk management activities.
- Investigate incidents, injuries and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness activities including evacuation procedures and emergency response training.




- Overall site management of PPE standards, HSE meetings, inductions, toolbox talks and contractor managment.
- Maintenance of accurate HSE performance data, including incident statistics, and workers’ compensation and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Management of injured workers and return to work proesses.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- At least 4 years' experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role within manufacturing, fabrication, engineering or a similar industry.
- A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (preferred) and experience in injury management.
- Experience working with ISO management systems (preferred)
- Solid knowledge of Australian WHS legislation.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using ERP or QHSE software.
- A collaborative approach and the confidence to engage with employees at all levels.
