The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for assisting in warehouse operations with a strong commitment to safety, logistic coordination and inventory accuracy. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role also plays a vital support role to both Sales and Production teams by ensuring goods are delivered accurately, stock is available when needed and all dispatch activities are aligned to operational priorities.

Outsource1 is a Brisbane based manufacturer and reseller to the traffic control and safety industries, specialising in full custom fleet fit outs and supply to support our customers with reactive and high-quality customer service. We are currently seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to lead within our warehousing and manufacturing facility, based in Brendale.
Duties
- Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accurate and timely deliveries
- Be a proactive warehouse team member
- Receive accurately against supplier purchase orders
- Operate within strict deadlines, ensuring speed while maintaining accuracy
- Empty containers and accurately record container contents for receival
- Maintain an organised, clean and safe work areas at all times
- Manage freight bookings, courier relationships and delivery documentation
- Resolve freight issues, damage claims or delivery delays with professionalism and urgency
- Receipt, inspect and input all incoming and outgoing goods into electronic work system
- Liaising with key customers regarding scheduled orders
- Liaising with all other business units, including manufacturing teams and customer service and sales teams
- Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials
- Function with ‘just in time’ stock systems
- Champion a culture of safety by enforcing WHS standards and policies across warehouse activities
- Conduct regular audits, pre-start checks and risk assessments on equipment and procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure system aligns with physical stock
- Lead regular cycle counts
Skills and Experience
- Previous experience in a warehousing environment preferred
- Certificate III or IV in Warehousing preferred but not essential
- Current Australian manual driver’s license and forklift license
- Current Australian MR minimum truck license preferred but not essential
- Extensive knowledge of Brisbane Area
- Excellent communications skills, personal presentation and time management
- Ability to work proactively within a team and unsupervised
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to observe and implement safe work areas
- Proven experience with stock and inventory control
- Self-motivated and performance driven
- Experience using MYOB EXO, MYOB Advanced or equivalent Electronic Work System programs
- Experience using Microsoft office suite
- Ability to use initiative and confident with problem solving
- Adaptable to work in a changing environment
- Active job role; would suit someone who is fit and able
