We are seeking a knowledgeable and client-focused Credit Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will act as an intermediary between clients and lending institutions, helping individuals and businesses secure suitable mortgage solutions. This role requires solid financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. We are also open to hearing from experienced Loan Processors or Loan Officers who are looking to take the next step in their career and transition into a Credit Analyst role.

The Role:

• Assess clients' financial situations, needs, and goals to recommend appropriate mortgage products

• Source and compare loan options from a panel of lenders to find the best fit for clients

• Guide clients through the mortgage application process from initial consultation to settlement

• Collect and verify financial documentation (income, credit history, assets, liabilities)

• Liaise with lenders, real estate agents, solicitors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies

• Stay up to date with mortgage products, interest rates,



and lending criteria

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to generate repeat business and referrals

• Provide ongoing support and advice to client’s post settlement

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, Loan Officer, or similar role (preferred)

• Relevant licensing or accreditation (e.g., Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking in Australia)

• Strong understanding of mortgage products, lending criteria, and financial regulations

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

• High level of attention to detail and organisational skills

• Ability to interpret company financials and tax returns to provide tailored recommendations

• Proficiency in CRM systems and mortgage/lending software

• Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping clients achieve financial goals

• Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet targets

• Ethical and compliant approach to financial services
