About Us
Thrive Health Therapies is a multidisciplinary allied health provider offering physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology and therapy assistant services across metropolitan Adelaide.
We primarily support NDIS participants, along with aged care, DVA and private clients. Services are delivered from our Findon clinic and within the community.
Our Findon clinic features a dedicated neurological rehabilitation gym equipped with specialist equipment including a tilt table and gait harness system, as well as private consultation rooms. We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based care within a collaborative environment where clinicians are well supported and encouraged to continue developing professionally.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join our growing team in a permanent employment role.
This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who enjoys delivering high-quality care while supporting the development of less experienced physiotherapists through mentoring, clinical guidance and collaboration. You will play an important role in fostering a positive team culture and contributing to clinical excellence across the physiotherapy team.
Your caseload will be predominantly clinic-based, with some community-based appointments across metropolitan Adelaide. Wherever possible, we aim to tailor the balance of clinic and community work to suit your preferences.
You will primarily work with clients with disabilities, including people living with stroke, acquired brain injury, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, amputations, intellectual disability and autism.
There is also the opportunity to include additional areas within your caseload if these align with your interests, including musculoskeletal physiotherapy, aged care, hypermobility spectrum disorders, POTS and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.
Previous experience working within the NDIS or providing community-based physiotherapy is not essential. We welcome experienced physiotherapists from other clinical environments and will provide support to develop confidence working within the disability sector.
Who We're Looking For
- AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist
- Several years of clinical experience with the confidence to work autonomously
- A passion for mentoring and supporting junior clinicians
- Excellent communication, documentation and time management skills
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- A strong interest in neurological rehabilitation and complex disability
- Previous NDIS or community experience is welcomed but not required
- Experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, hypermobility, POTS or EDS is an advantage but not essential
Essential Requirements (or willingness to obtain)
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
Why Join Thrive Health Therapies?
At Thrive, you'll be joining a team that genuinely values collaboration, clinical excellence and making a meaningful difference in people's lives. We foster an environment where clinicians support one another, share knowledge and are encouraged to continue growing professionally.
You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior clinicians, further develop your own expertise, and help shape the future of our physiotherapy service while enjoying the flexibility to build a caseload that aligns with your interests. With access to our neurological rehabilitation gym and multidisciplinary team, you'll have the resources and support to provide exceptional care.
