Topdrill, Australia’s leading privately owned drilling company, is seeking a Trainer / Induction Facilitator to lead our flagship Topdrill 101 program and manage the onboarding experience for all new starters across the Topgroup businesses.

This role is responsible for delivering an engaging and professional onboarding experience, ensuring every new starter feels welcomed, prepared, connected, and ready for success.

Please note: This position is Kalgoorlie-based and is not offered on a FIFO basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate the Topdrill 101 induction program for all Topgroup businesses.
- Champion the Topdrill Way by ensuring new starters understand our culture, values, standards and expectations from day one.
- Create a positive and engaging onboarding experience that helps new employees build relationships and feel connected to the business before commencing on site.
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of the new starter experience, including airport pick-ups, accommodation coordination (where required),
system setup and general onboarding support.
- Ensure all new starters are site-ready, compliant and equipped with the information, tools and resources required to commence work safely and effectively.
- Conduct Verification of Competencies (VOC) assessments within the Kalgoorlie Topdrill yard.
- Assess and mark induction questionnaires and maintain accurate training records.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure all onboarding requirements are completed prior to mobilisation.
- Work closely with operational leaders to assist with the allocation of new starters to departments and regions.
- Provide support within the Kalgoorlie Yard and Office as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willing to obtain (essential).
- Current National Police Clearance or the ability to obtain one (essential).
- Current Forklift Licence with demonstrated operating experience (desirable).
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience within the drilling or earthworks industry (advantageous).
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse groups of people.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and as part of a team.
- Current Open C Class WA Driver's Licence (MC Licence advantageous).
