Job description:

About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Contracts Management, you'll take ownership of post-contract and commercial management across the project, ensuring every contract is delivered on time, in compliance, and in alignment with SUEZ's strategy.
Your key responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing, analysing, and preparing contract documents — and proposing appropriate forms and amendments to terms and conditions
- Leading the negotiation of subcontracts and procurement packages, with full alignment to SUEZ's main contract obligations
- Managing the obligations register and keeping the project team accountable to contractual commitments
- Preparing and pursuing variations, claims, and notices — protecting SUEZ's rights at every stage
- Identifying and capitalising on contractual opportunities including variation orders and value engineering




- Developing defensive strategies to manage risks and preserve project margin
- Driving amicable dispute resolution and participating in formal ADR processes when needed
- Supporting project close-out — tracking completion milestones, managing bonds, and ensuring all liabilities are cleared
- Coaching and upskilling the broader project team on contracts awareness and compliance

Profile description:

About You

- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Solid experience in commercial and contract management within water treatment or infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and risk management
- Proven ability to manage medium to large value contracts and navigate complex negotiations
- Sharp analytical instincts — you can spot a contractual conflict before it becomes a problem
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal language into clear, actionable guidance
- Excellent negotiation skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple contracts simultaneously
- Skilled certifications in CIArb, PMI, or RICS are highly regarded
