About You
We are looking for a Harzdous Material Technician (Asbestos Removalist) OR Demolition/Construction Labourer for our ACT branch.
- Asbestos Class A & B Licence is advantageous but not required. Training for the right candidate will be provided.
- Willing to work away from home for approximately 2–3 months per year (not necessarily consecutively). Living Away from Home Allowance (LAHA) provided for eligible periods.
- Current drivers’ license and own reliable transport
- Follow instructions given by supervisors and maintain a high work ethic
- Maintain the current Australian standards of work and comply with all company policies and procedures
- Be flexible and able to adapt easily when completing new tasks
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
- Experience in construction/demolition industry is preferred but not essential
- EWP - Over 11m Boom - TLILIC0005 + High Risk Work Licence
- Work Safely at Heights - RIIWHS204E
- Supervise Asbestos Ticket - CPCCDE4008
- Course in Crystalline Silica Exposure Prevention - 10830NAT
