ABOUT THE ROLE
Backam Group is currently seeking reliable and motivated Assembly Workers to join a manufacturing business based in Smeaton Grange, NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates seeking stable, ongoing employment with a well-established Australian manufacturer. You'll be involved in the assembly and production of high-quality products and equipment used across a range of industries.
? Location: Smeaton Grange, NSW
? Pay Rate: $37.95 - $40.00 per hour casual (depending on experience)
⏰ Shift Schedule: 7:00am start, Monday to Friday, Ongoing
? Employment Type: Casual, ongoing
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling products and equiment
- Using hand and power tools
- Reading and following assembly instructions and work orders
- Performing quality checks on finished products
- Assisting with general manufacturing and production duties
- Packaging and preparing products for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Working to production targets while maintaining quality standards
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for reliable candidates who are committed to long-term employment and take pride in producing quality work.
To be considered, you should have:
✔ Previous assembly, manufacturing, workshop, production, fabrication or trade assistant experience
✔ Experience using hand and power tools
✔ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
✔ Ability to follow instructions and work independently
✔ Reliable transport and excellent attendance record
✔ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Commitment to workplace health and safety
