About You:
We are seeking a dedicated Educational Leader who brings both passion and purpose to early childhood education. This person will champion high‑quality learning and care, collaborate confidently with the team, and offer thoughtful guidance that supports professional growth. They will share their expertise generously, communicate with warmth, and embody a genuine people‑centered approach. Above all, they will be deeply committed to our child‑first philosophy and the meaningful impact this role has on children, families, and educators.
In this role, ample time is provided to oversee documentation and hands-on mentoring.
A large part of this role is working closely with management and collaborating with the team to facilitate discussions and support educators' qualified growth and development, while valuing each educator's learning style and skill set with the larger goal of building a stronger, more connected team.
The role:
- Working alongside our director
- Assist with managing the floor ratios/ breaks
- The ability to collaborate with our educators and provide curriculum direction and guidance
- Build the knowledge, skills, and professionalism of the team
- Assist with the self-assessment online tools
- Align learning with the EYLF & the NQS
- Build & maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children & team
- Support a culture of reflective practice & continuous improvement
- Guide & support the team towards best practice
- Feedback to management & collaborating with our sister services
We prefer an ECT but are open to considering an experienced diploma‑qualified educator who has demonstrated strong educational leadership experience and is ready to step confidently into a more advanced role and further enhance their career.
