Are you passionate about delivering great customer service and supporting community programs, activities and events? The City of Karratha is seeking Community Services Assistants to work across a range of Council facilities, including arts and events venues, libraries, recreation precincts, youth centres and indoor play spaces.

What You'll Be Doing

- Provide friendly, efficient and professional customer service to community members, patrons and facility users.
- Support the delivery of programs, activities and events across City venues and community facilities.
- Assist with day-to-day facility operations, including maintaining clean, safe and welcoming spaces.




- Work flexibly across multiple sites, including some evenings and weekends in line with facility opening hours.

What We're Looking For

- Reliable and enthusiastic team member with strong communication skills.
- Customer-focused approach and ability to work well in a busy community workplace.
- Previous customer service experience is desirable.
- Experience working with children, young people, or in recreation, libraries, events, hospitality or community services is desirable.
- May be required to hold, or be willing to obtain, relevant checks and certificates depending on the duties undertaken.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, with strong communication and basic problem-solving skills.
- Relevant checks and certificates may include a National Police Certificate, Working with Children Check, First Aid Certificate
- Current C class driver’s licence is desirable.
