We're partnering with a leading organisation that's investing in the way their Group Finance division uses and manages data.

As a Finance Data Engineer, you'll help build and enhance the data platforms that support financial reporting, analytics and decision-making. You'll develop reliable data pipelines, improve data quality and partner with finance and technology teams to deliver trusted data solutions.

You'll join a small but collaborative team focused on improving the division's data capability, with the opportunity to work on modern cloud technologies and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the finance data platform.

Salary: $110k-$120k + Super + Bonus

Location: Sydney CBD | 3 days/week in office

N.B. You must be Citizen, PR or a natural pathway to PR in order to be successful for this role.

What You'll Do

- Build and maintain data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake.
- Develop datasets that support reporting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Help improve data quality, reliability and performance across the platform.
- Work with Finance and Technology stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver practical data solutions.
- Assist with data modelling, optimisation and platform enhancements.
- Support the ongoing modernisation of the Group Finance data setting.




- Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

- Commercial experience as a Data Engineer or Analytics Engineer.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake.
- Strong SQL skills and experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Understanding of data modelling and modern data engineering principles.
- A logical, analytical approach to solving technical problems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience within financial services would be advantageous but isn't essential.
