We're currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at St Francis Aged Care, a welcoming 52-bed residential home in Orange.

Roster:

- Week 1: Wednesday & Sunday nights
- Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Sunday nights

Shift: 9:30 pm – 7:15 am

This is an ideal opportunity for a confident clinician who enjoys working night duty and is capable of leading the care team overnight. As the senior nurse on shift, you will be responsible for coordinating resident care, providing clinical leadership, and ensuring safe, high-quality care throughout the night. Reporting to the Care Manager, you will:

- Deliver high-quality, person-centred clinical care to residents.
- Be the Registered Nurse in Charge during the night shift, making sound clinical decisions and responding to resident needs.
- Lead and support the personal care team, providing direction, coaching and clinical guidance.
- Complete clinical assessments, documentation and medication management in accordance with best practice.
- Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, organisational policies and safe work practices.
- Liaise with families,



medical practitioners and allied health professionals as required.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Solid post-registration clinical experience, ideally within residential aged care.
- The confidence and clinical judgement to work independently and lead the home during overnight shifts.
- A solid understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, relevant legislation and AN-ACC.
- Excellent assessment, clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership, mentoring and team coordination experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competent computer and clinical documentation skills.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care to older people.
- Willingness to obtain a National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
