Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 + 12% Super
Location: Sydney (4 days in-office / 1 day WFH hybrid flexibility)
Tenure: 12-Month Max-Term Contract (High probability of extension or permanent conversion based on business growth)
Entitlements: Full pro-rata personal leave, 4 weeks annual leave, and public holiday pay

Your New Position:

As the Commercial Strategy Lead, you will act as the vital strategic bridge connecting Brand Marketing, Field Sales, and Supply Chain. You will own the Go-To-Market (GTM) execution for core brand priorities and new product developments (NPDs) across top pharmacy and retail accounts.

This is a commercially heavy, data-driven role focused on pricing, trade budget ROI, channel strategy, demand forecasting, and driving 3rd-party broker effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

- Go-To-Market Strategy: Lead the commercial launch strategy for NPDs-defining range, promotional structures, pricing, and compelling sales stories for retailers.
- Commercial Strategy & Revenue Management: Design and implement pricing and promotion principles across channels to ensure consistency, drive trade fund effectiveness, and deliver ROI.
- Pharmacy Retailer Engagement: Partner with National Account teams on category reviews for key retail pharmacy accounts (e.g., CWH, TWCM) and top banner groups,



bringing powerful category stories to life.
- 3rd-Party Sales Agency Oversight: Drive field force effectiveness by setting SLAs and KPIs, managing weekly/monthly business reviews, and ensuring flawless in-store execution (planograms, secondary displays, price compliance).
- Insights & Demand Planning: Analyze in-market data and distribution metrics to inform trade strategy; supply sales intelligence to Demand Planning to minimize out-of-stock (OOS) risks.
- Channel Planning: Lead the trade planning process, trade calendar design, and sales cycle agendas.

What You Bring:

- Industry Experience: Proven background in Trade Strategy, Category Development, Commercial Strategy, or Shopper Marketing within Australian FMCG, OTC, or Retail Pharmacy channels.
- Financial & Commercial Acumen: High proficiency in calculating trade spend ROI, evaluating promotional uplift, and modeling channel profitability.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional negotiation, storytelling, and influencing skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional alignment across Sales, Marketing, Supply, and Finance.
- Analytical Capability: Advanced skills in analyzing large datasets (Scan, Aztec/Nielsen, internal sales) to translate insights into clear strategic actions.
- Compliance: Clear Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC) required.
