The Role:

As our Merchandise & Promotions Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing the cinema experience to life through the food, drinks, merchandise and promotions our guests love. This is a company-wide role covering our entire circuit across Australia and Current Zealand. From collectible popcorn buckets and movie-themed drink vessels to exclusive merchandise and promotional campaigns, you'll help deliver the products and experiences that make a trip to HOYTS memorable.

You'll manage the full lifecycle of promotions and merchandise, partnering with film distributors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop promotional calendars, source products, coordinate artwork and collateral, and ensure every campaign is delivered on time, on budget and in line with our brand across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll also take ownership of our merchandise categories and arcade portfolio, managing supplier relationships, forecasting, pricing, product performance and system maintenance in Vista. Working closely with our cinema teams, you'll provide ongoing support to ensure products, promotions and merchandising standards are executed consistently, while helping maintain compliance, training and operational best practice.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. It's perfect for someone who enjoys balancing commercial thinking with creativity and loves seeing an idea come to life in cinemas.

Who we're looking for:





You're an organised and commercially minded professional who enjoys working across multiple projects and building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. You have experience in a similar role and are confident managing competing priorities while delivering great outcomes.

You're a genuine movie buff who understands what makes fans excited - especially the collectables market, from limited-edition popcorn buckets to exclusive merchandise drops - and you know how to turn that excitement into a great promotional campaign. You enjoy the creative side of promotions but are equally comfortable analysing pricing, margins and product performance. You're confident using Microsoft Office and, if you've worked with Vista, retail or hospitality products, or cinema operations, that's a bonus.

You're flexible to work occasional evenings and weekends, checking in on merchandising standards in-venue and observing customer behaviour during peak trade to help shape sales strategies.

Most importantly, you're proactive, solutions-focused and have a strong attention to detail. You take ownership of your work, enjoy working collaboratively and thrive in a fast-paced environment where there's always something new happening.
