As the Inventory Analyst, you will manage and optimise inventory levels to ensure product availability, minimise excess and obsolete stock, and deliver actionable insights that support informed business decisions. Your will be maintaining strong inventory governance, ensuring compliance with established processes, conducting regular audits, and producing executive‑level dashboards and reports to monitor performance and guide strategic planning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise inventory levels to prevent stock shortages, minimise excess stock, and support efficient inventory turnover.
- Forecast inventory requirements using historical data, sales trends, demand patterns, and lead time analysis to support business planning.
- Develop, maintain, and present inventory reports, executive dashboards, and KPI insights using BI tools to support informed decision-making.
- Conduct stock audits, reconciliations, and governance reviews to ensure inventory accuracy, compliance, and effective inventory control.
- Collaborate with procurement, sales, production,
and suppliers to manage inventory flow, improve processes, and drive cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with inventory, regulatory, health, safety, and workplace policies while promoting a culture of safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Have You Got What We’re Looking For?
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analysis, or a related discipline, with relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM, Six Sigma) highly regarded.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in inventory management, supply chain, or data analysis within a retail or multi-site setting.
- Mandatory experience using SAP S/4HANA ERP systems and advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
