About the role

We are seeking an experienced mechanic to join our team at Roberts Automotive & Industrial. We are a workshop located in Brighton, Tasmania. The right candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a range of vehicles and machinery which will contribute to the effective and effective operation of our automotive business.

What you'll be doing

1. Diagnose, repair and service a variety of vehicle makes and models.

2. Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as timing belts and timing chains.

3. Carry out routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections and tyre rotations.

4. Identify and rectify mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment.

5. Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

6. Maintain detailed records of all work performed.

7. Adhere to all relevant safety standards and workshop procedures.

8. Salary based on experience.

What we're looking for

1. Relevant trade qualification in automotive mechanics.

2.



Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.

3. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

4. Effective communication and customer service skills.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

6. Hold a current Australian manual drivers license.
