The Opportunity

Estimating is one of the most important functions within our business.

You'll work closely with our Managing Director, Project Managers and Engineering team to prepare accurate, commercially sound tenders that position the business for long-term success.

Unlike many contractors, our estimators remain involved after a project is awarded.

You'll continue working alongside our Project Managers and Engineers throughout delivery, providing commercial and technical support, assisting with procurement strategies, reviewing variations and helping ensure the intent of the tender is successfully carried through to project completion.





We believe the best outcomes occur when estimating, engineering and project delivery operate as one team.

Key Responsibilities

- Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation

- Complete accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates

- Prepare competitive tender submissions

- Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations

- Identify commercial risks, scope gaps and opportunities

- Prepare tender clarifications and qualifications

- Participate in tender review meetings

- Work collaboratively with Project Managers and Engineers during project handover

- Continue supporting projects throughout delivery with commercial and technical input

- Assist with procurement, variations and project commercial reviews

- Build strong relationships with builders, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors

- Contribute to the continual improvement of our estimating systems and processes

About You

You'll already have experience estimating commercial mechanical projects and be confident interpreting mechanical drawings, specifications and tender documentation.

You may have two years' experience or twenty.

What matters most is your capability.

We're looking for someone who has developed strong technical knowledge, commercial awareness and the confidence to take ownership of their tenders.

Ideally you'll have:

- Experience estimating commercial mechanical services projects

- Solid technical understanding of HVAC systems

- Good commercial judgement

- High attention to detail

- Strong organisational skills

- The ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously





- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Confidence working with builders, consultants, suppliers and subcontractors

- A genuine desire to continually improve
