About The Opportunity

Join Bundaberg Regional Council's Parks and Natural Areas teams and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our parks, gardens, open spaces, cemeteries, reserves, beaches, foreshores and streetscapes. Working within multi-skilled teams, you'll undertake a diverse range of maintenance, improvement and horticultural activities while supporting the delivery of high-quality public spaces for our community. Across these opportunities, successful candidates may lead small crews, coordinate day-to-day works, operate a range of plant and equipment, and assist with the delivery of maintenance programs, minor projects and task documentation. These are hands-on opportunities for experienced parks and horticulture professionals who are committed to safety, teamwork and delivering positive outcomes for the community.

About You

To be successful in these roles, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:

- Qualification in horticulture (Certificate II or higher).
- Experience in parks, landscaping, horticultural or grounds maintenance activities.
- Experience leading or supporting small teams in an outdoor operational workplace.
- Ability to safely operate and maintain plant and equipment.
- Current Class C and MR Driver Licence and White Card.
- Strong commitment to safety,



teamwork and delivering quality outcomes for the community.
