The Opportunity

As a Hydraulic Design / Drafting Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects from concept through to construction.

Working closely with our engineers and project team, you'll prepare detailed hydraulic documentation, coordinate designs with other consultants, and help deliver accurate, practical solutions across a wide variety of developments.

This role offers excellent exposure to all stages of project delivery, while providing ongoing opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and develop your career.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be involved in:

- Preparing hydraulic services drawings and documentation using Revit and/or AutoCAD.

- Assisting engineers with the drafting and design of:

- Sewer and sanitary drainage systems

- Stormwater drainage systems

- Hot and cold water services

- Gas services

- Pump systems

- Trade waste systems

- Rainwater reuse systems

- Other hydraulic services as required

- Coordinating drawings with architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical consultants.

- Updating drawings throughout each stage of project delivery.

- Producing accurate, high-quality documentation in accordance with company standards.





- Maintaining drawing standards and quality assurance procedures.

- Supporting project teams to meet project deadlines and deliverables.

- Assisting with document control and project administration.

- Contributing to continuous improvement within the drafting and design team.

About You

You're someone who enjoys technical drafting, takes pride in producing quality work, and is always looking to learn something new.

Essential

- Experience using Revit.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Good technical problem-solving skills.

- Excellent organisational and communication skills.

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Desirable

- Experience using AutoCAD.

- Experience in hydraulic services or building services as a Drafting Technician.

- An understanding of hydraulic services systems and construction documentation.

- A willingness to continue developing your hydraulic design knowledge and technical capability.
