Sydney | Revit | Large-Scale Projects
Enjoy documentation and technical delivery? Join a growing Sydney practice working on quality large-scale projects.
- Architectural Technician role
- Large-scale project pipeline
- Sydney CBD | Short walk from Central Station
Every practice has its own idea of what makes a great Architectural Technician.
When I recently caught up with this growing Sydney practice, one thing became very clear. They weren't simply looking for someone who could use Revit. They wanted someone the project team could genuinely rely on. Someone who enjoys documentation, understands how buildings come together and takes pride in producing accurate, well-coordinated drawing packages.
With a strong pipeline of work and continued growth, they're looking to add two Architectural Technicians to the team.
Why this opportunity is worth considering
This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys the technical side of architecture and wants to be part of a collaborative practice delivering larger-scale projects.
You'll work closely with experienced Project Leads and Directors while taking ownership of documentation packages and contributing to projects from early design through to construction documentation.
The role would suit either an experienced Architectural Graduate who enjoys technical delivery or an Architectural Technician with a strong local background and advanced Revit skills.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare high-quality Revit documentation
- Produce coordinated drawing packages across multiple project stages
- Work on large-scale multi-residential and mixed-use projects
- Coordinate with consultants and project teams
- Resolve technical detailing and documentation issues
- Manage your workload with minimal supervision
What they're looking for
- Advanced Revit skills
- Strong Australian documentation experience
- Local knowledge of Australian building regulations and construction standards
- Experience on large-scale multi-residential projects will be highly regarded
- Ability to work autonomously and manage priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and coordination skills
- Architectural degree or relevant architectural drafting qualification
- Full, unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship available) and currently residing in Australia
Role standouts
One thing I noticed during my visit was how much trust is placed in the technical team. This isn't a role where you'll simply be following instructions all day. You'll be given ownership, encouraged to think for yourself and trusted to produce quality work.
With two immediate vacancies and a growing pipeline of projects, it's a great opportunity to join a practice that continues to expand while maintaining a genuinely collaborative culture.
