An exciting opportunity is available for a Clinical Trial Investigator / Sub-Investigator to join a well-established clinical research organisation based in Melbourne. This role offers the chance to work on innovative clinical studies while providing medical oversight and ensuring participant safety throughout the research process.
Suitable for doctors seeking either part time or full-time employment (0.6 - 1.0 FTE) , the position offers a flexible roster with a variety of shift options available. You will work alongside experienced clinical research professionals in a highly collaborative environment focused on advancing medical innovation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct clinical assessments to determine participant suitability for study enrolment.
- Lead the informed consent process and ensure participants understand study procedures and requirements.
- Provide medical oversight and care to study participants throughout clinical trials.
- Review and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, and clinical results.
- Monitor participant safety and ensure compliance with study protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinical operations, pharmacy, laboratory, and quality functions.
- Support the successful execution of clinical studies while maintaining high standards of patient care and regulatory compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner.
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare or research environment.
- Interest in clinical research and advancing healthcare innovation.
- Previous clinical trial experience is advantageous but not essential.
