We're partnering with a major Queensland Government organisation to recruit an experienced Data Modeller for a 12-month contract.

Responsibilities:

- Design conceptual, logical and physical data models.
- Translate business requirements into enterprise data models.
- Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, lineage and business rules.
- Reverse engineer existing data models and support future-state design.
- Contribute to data modelling standards and governance practices.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts and business stakeholders.

Ideally you will have the following:

- Experience as a Data Modeller within enterprise data and analytics environments.
- Solid knowledge of conceptual, logical and physical data modelling.
- Experience with data governance, metadata management and data quality.
- Experience using ER/Studio Data Architect or similar modelling tools.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and DevOps practices.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
