Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies for dealership operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and efficient resource allocation.
- Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and month-end closing, and prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
- Perform cost accounting for dealership operations, including vehicle procurement costs, logistics, inventory holding costs, and operational expenses, and analyse cost variances to improve profitability.
- Manage sales and after-sales financial accounting, including vehicle sales, accessories, service, warranty, and claims, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and margin analysis.
- Conduct rebate, incentive, and commission accounting, including OEM rebates, sales incentives, and after-sales incentives, ensuring accurate calculation, reconciliation, and timely settlement.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts and projects, monitor expenditures, and ensure compliance with commercial agreements and OEM policies.
- Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to senior management, including sales performance, after-sales profitability, inventory turnover,
and cash-flow management.
- Other tasks assigned by the Finance Manager.
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Relevant finance or accounting experience, preferably in automotive dealership operations are desired.
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (spoken and written).
Hands-on experience in financial operations, including:
- Deal costing
- Sales and after-sales accounting (vehicle sales, service, warranty, claims)
- Accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month‑end closing
- Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Proven ability to perform financial analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
- Strong attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work in a fast‑paced dealership environment.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work closely with sales, after-sales, and operations teams.
Nice-to-Have:
- Direct experience with OEM rebate, incentive, and commission accounting.
- Experience working in a multi-store or group automotive dealership environment.
- Familiarity with audit processes, internal controls, and risk management.
