About the role
APX Traffic Management Pty Ltd is seeking experienced and reliable Traffic Controllers and TMI's to join our team in Coomera, QLD.
This is a casual role, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule.
As a Traffic Controller or Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of workers and the public at various worksites.
What you'll be doing
Controlling and directing traffic flow at construction sites, road works, and other designated areas
Placing and removing traffic control devices such as signs, barriers, and traffic lights
Monitoring and adjusting traffic control measures to respond to changing conditions
Providing guidance and supervision to a team of Traffic Controllers, as required
Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and procedures
Communicating effectively with the public, site managers, and other stakeholders
What we're looking for
Experience as a Traffic Controller or Team Leader, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry




Certification in Traffic Control and/or Traffic Management
Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
