Incident Response Analyst (AI Training)

What You'll Do
- Analyze realistic security incidents, alerts, and event data to evaluate AI-generated investigation outputs
- Assess AI responses for accuracy in root cause analysis, impact determination, and remediation guidance
- Review and critique detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks used by AI systems
- Identify gaps where AI analysis diverges from real-world SOC best practices
- Provide structured,
expert feedback that directly improves AI model performance in security contexts
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations, incident response, or security engineering
- Proficient with SIEM platforms, alert triage workflows, and investigation tooling
- Strong ability to distinguish high-signal threats from background noise
- Clear written communicator who can articulate security reasoning in structured formats
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
Nice to Have
- Experience with threat intelligence, digital forensics, or malware analysis
- Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK;, NIST, or PICERL
- Prior exposure to AI evaluation or red-teaming workflows
- Certifications such as GCIH, GCFA, CEH, or equivalent
